These cold winter days can get long, but I'm making an effort to enjoy the little things and appreciate joys each day. Here are a few of the things that brought me joy this past week!
My friend Alyssa has recently gotten into making candles and has made some that truly smell amazing! I've burned through several different scents, but Pine Berry from her winter collection is one of my favorites. After burning through one over the holidays, this week one of my joys was lighting a brand new Pine Berry candle and letting the scent fill our home. You should check out her candles: ajlt candles
Since I work from home, I’m pretty frequently snacking. And while the majority of the snacks lean towards the healthy side, I’ve got to have some sweet treats around. I just ordered these Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels in my last Target order and they are truly delicious! And just a few hit the spot for a sweet snack.
I've made it a goal to read more often, and read more books. Since the start of the pandemic, I've been making it a point to try and read a little bit each day. I recently started this book, Anxious People, and it has been really enjoyable to read. I have read several other works by Fredrik Backman, and each one is unique but lovely. Cold winter days are also perfect for snuggling up with a fleece blanket and getting lost in the book pages.
